Happy #fashionwednesday, friends!! I wanted to share an absolute STEAL of a sweatshirt from one of my favorite local boutiques today – they have it in several colors and I’m honestly obsessed. It’s perfect for the season AND I’m going to share how to style it to create the perfect travel outfit! I used to be a classy Jen traveler with all the fancy outfits and I definitely chose style over comfort but NOW – that is wayyyyyy not the case. I’m now a creature of comfort and I refuse to wear anything that is even the slightest bit uncomfortable. If I’m going to be on a place or in a car for several hours, I do not want to wear jeans. #fact. Let’s dive into this.

The Comfiest $30 Sweatshirt Find + TRAVEL Style Inspo!

OK. So I snagged this sweatshirt last week when I was milling around in a few small boutiques downtown getting some ideas for #smallshopsunday, and came across The Happy Camper Co. If you are a midwest babe – you are going to want to check this out. And if you AREN’T a midwest girl, they still have absolutely adorable holiday sweatshirts and long sleeved tees.

I sized up to a medium in this sweatshirt for extra comfort, I prefer oversized when it comes to my sweatshirts. This gold color is absolutely perfect. It’s a soft fabric and even though it’s oversized, it’s VERY flattering.

For travel, I paired this with my Love+Fit Postpartum leggings (they are the BEST at tucking me in and they have the no slide tummy panel), my favorite Amazon puffer vest and my Amazon white sneakers. It’s such an easy look and you can literally interchange any oversized sweater to fit your style. I’m wearing a small in these leggings – they are so soft, they have a little pocket in the side for my phone (underrated plus to these leggings. Why don’t all leggings have this pocket?), and they don’t roll down. The high waist STAYS high waisted.

I think my black puffer vest was one of the best purchases I made this year – it’s super warm, very versatile and flattering. I sized up to a medium on this as well because I wanted it to be a little bit longer and the small seemed short. It fits totally fine. The small probably would have hugged into my waist a little bit more, but I am fine with it being a little bigger. When it’s open, you can’t really tell anyways. It’s the perfect layering piece – and this particular vest comes with a little carrying pouch that it folds up into and gets really small – so if you got too hot, you can take it off, fold it up and toss it in your bag!
