It’s a ONE-DER THE SEA PARTY! 🥰 // I looooooove a good birthday party and today was so so good. We knew it would be a smaller crew than we hoped due to the pandemic-which-will-not-be-named but it honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Beautiful weather, wonderful friends and the sweetest little one year old around! 💙💙💙 BIG THANK YOU TO @partyhopshop & @lauliecakes for the decorations and smash cake!! This boy is ONE today and my mama heart could just explode with joy. // HAPPY BIRTHDAY, my sweet Jack Henry. Being your mom is the greatest thing I’ve ever done (besides marrying your daddy) and I cannot wait to see what year 2 holds. Hopefully less eating of non edible items but somehow I think that’s a pipe dream 🤪 HUGE THANK YOU to @erinstubblefieldphoto for capturing these amazing family shots. 😭❤️

MOMS WHO NEED A FAST MORNING ROUTINE SAVE THIS FOR LATER ➡️ It took me 7.5 minutes to get ready this morning start to finish. Someone call 2017 Tay and tell her she no longer takes an hour and a half to get ready - trust me, she won’t believe you 🤣🤣 // I’m just so in love with my brows (@inked_beautybarstl) and my lash extensions (@lashesbylavonne). I really have to be quick in the mornings when I don’t have help watching J. And while I still LOVE a good glam session (and trust me, I DO) - it just isn’t practical for every day right now because if I look away for even a second my kid is eating eyeshadow (check my stories for that saga #momoftheyear). SO - Here are some of my go-to products for a glowy, natural look that’s super easy:
- @tula brightening eye balm
- @physiciansformula natural defense foundation
- @tartecosmetics sea breezy cream bronzer
- @colourpopcosmetics blush stix
- @nyxcosmetics butter gloss
An all-cream face is the easiest way to maintain a natural glow during the day - and I top off with my @urbandecaycosmetics all-nighter setting spray to keep it glowy not sweaty (because HI OILY SKIN).

*SAVE THIS POST FOR LATER!!!* I used to just leave the house with my wallet in my pocket and my phone in hand. Then Jack was born and now I have to bring all the things 😆🙃Here is what I keep in Jack's bag so we are always prepared:
• extra set of clothes
• sippy cup with water
• hand sanitizer
• pack of wipes
• extra diapers
• a little snack
• 1 or 2 toys
PRO TIP: use a clear backpack as a diaper bag - it’s not as pretty but it’s SO MUCH EASIER to keep clean and organized and I never lose anything to a bottomless pit. 🙌🏻🤪

BYE BYE BLUE WALLS! 🙌🏻😭 I have hated the color of our master bedroom since the day we moved in - it was a weird blue-grey that often pulled like a denim color. We pulled the trigger and bought paint last weekend and I have been painting every night to try to get it done by this weekend! We chose @behrpaint in “Dolphin Fin” and I’m obsessed. Just WAIT until you see the before and after. Next up: painting the master bathroom (it’s going to be Behr Mission White, a pretty, neutral grey-white) and choosing new flooring!
