Happy FRI-YAY!! Every monthly obsessions post I say “I can’t believe x month is over” and it’s still true, even in 2020. I am always surprised EVERY MONTH how fast time is going by. I have a six month old, I turned 25, my husband’s 29th birthday is TODAY. 2020 is kicking off to an awesome start. I have so many favorites this month now that my makeup no-buy is over. I am stoked to be trying new products again and sharing all my current favorites!! Let’s dive into this.

JANUARY 2020 MONTHLY OBSESSIONS

Champagne Diamonds

I received this absolutely STUNNING champagne diamond ring for Christmas and ever since – I have been obsessed with champagne diamonds. I didn’t even know they were a thing but my world is changed now. They have this beautiful golden undertone and they sparkle like crazy. I would LOVE a pair of rose gold and champagne diamond earrings to go with this ring next.

Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Vol. 1 Palette

I talked ALL ABOUT Tati’s palette in my #beautymonday post this week (check it out here) and I’m OBSESSED. This palette is everything I’ve every wanted in a palette and more. I really hope she comes out with more volumes of this style of palette. It’s absolutely GENIUS.

Physicians Formula Natural Defense Foundation

I have been waiting for this! Guess what my new go-to foundation is? *spoiler alert* this one. I decided to test it a little bit early (I’ll have a full review coming out Monday) and surprise, surprise, I fell in love. I’ve been really enjoying sheer to medium coverage foundations lately as my skin starts to clear up a little bit and this has been perfect for my no makeup makeup days. It’s hydrating so my skin doesn’t look dry and it looks SO natural on the skin.

Time + Tru Cozy Set from Walmart

Uhm. This set together is under $17. So. I’m sorry, but RUN – do not walk – to your nearest Walmart, please and thank you. I saw another blogger post about this set (she got it in grey) and I immediately went to Walmart to pick up a set for myself. I got the black because I tend to wear black more and I’m SO glad I did. It’s super soft, super inexpensive and the fit is so comfortable. It’s high waisted, loose through the leg and I sized up to a medium for an oversize fit. If you are shorter than 5’6 though, I’d go down to a small for the pants because the length will be way too long!

Polaroid Picture Album

I love this! It holds 80 pictures and is the perfect size to keep your photos in! I have a goal to take polaroids all year long because I love how real and raw they are – so was better way to store them than in this cute little album? It comes in several colors and it’s less than $15.

3 Barrel Hair Crimper

This is an amazon purchase and you NEED IT. Crimped hair is back, ladies and gents, and I’m here for it. It lasts for days and is the ultimate beachy style. It is effortless and easy and looks amazing on everyone. Plus super affordable!

Fuzzy Quarter Zip Pullover from Stitch Fix

This is my favorite Stitch Fix item I think I’ve ever received. I almost didn’t keep it because I have a few quarter zip pullovers but I am so glad I did. I’ve worn it at least once a week (or twice) since receiving it and it’s insanely comfortable and flattering. It can be worn with jeans and boots, leggings and sneakers or patterned denim and slides. SO versatile and SO cute.

True Crime Obsessed Podcast

I just discovered this podcast in an effort to fill my time in between episodes of Crime Junkie. I love it!! Gillian and Patrick are hilarious and they somehow find a way to tell these stories with humor, but still totally respectful. They are totally worth a listen.

Briogeo Honey Hair Mask

This hair mask was limited edition over the holidays which is SO RUDE because I didn’t have a chance to stock up. I am in LOVE with this hair mask. I use it every time I wash my hair (2x / week) from mid-shaft to the ends and let it side for 3-5 minutes. Right now, my hair is the healthiest it has ever been. It has taken a long road to get here and required less bleaching, less heat styling and less washing but we MADE IT. A good alternative to this mask is the original Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Mask.

Bite Agave Lip Balm

The Bite Agave overnight lip mask is one of my holy grail products. I’ve used it since high school and it’s absolutely incredible. HOWEVER, I find it too thick to wear every day. I snagged this when I picked up my birthday gift from Sephora at the beginning of the month and I haven’t been able to put it down. It’s $14, so a bit pricier than my other holy grail lip balm from Physicians Formula but it is really, really good.

I hope you enjoyed this month’s monthly obsessions list – I love love love writing these. It’s a great way for me to keep a running list of products that I love and that are definitely worth your time and money!

Have you tried any of these products? What made it in your monthly obsessions list this month?! Let me know in the comments below!
