Halloween Tutorial Series: Day of the Dead Sugar Skull
Happy #beauty….Thursday? I know it is SUPER out of character for me to post anything beauty related on a Thursday but Halloween tutorials are in FULL swing and if I only did one a week, we’d only have FIVE makeup tutorials for Halloween and that’s unacceptable. So. I plan on having at least ten if not more. Anyways — I know what you’re thinking: Taylor .. you already DID a Sugar Skull tutorial LAAAST year. Well, to that I say: TOO BAD. I’ve grown and so has my makeup skill and I wanted to try my hand at one of my best looks — this time, with new skill and better equipment. I’m glad I did because I’m VERY happy with how this turned out. Let’s dive into this.

I’m really proud of how far I’ve come makeup-wise in the last 365 days. I feel excited for the future and the opportunities that come with it! I see quite a difference and I can’t wait until next year when I can compare again to see another year’s growth.

One year my daughter did my makeup in a similar fashion. I felt awesome and totally in character.
It is a costume in itself!
Wow you are so talented!! I know you have to start somewhere but I don’t think I would ever be able to achieve something like this no matter how much I practiced!
I totally think you could!!! Just takes time and a LOT of practice (and lots of messing up — luckily it’s just makeup, and it wipes right off 😉 )
Wow, you’re so talented! I could never do this, props to you!
I’m sure you could with some practice!
Oooh, so pretty!
Thanks Sam!
