HEY FAM! If you follow my insta, you’ll know that last weekend, I was hanging out with my hubby at Fritz’s Adventure. They reached out to me a few weeks ago asking if we’d want to come try it out and I’ve never seen my husband jump on an opportunity like that so fast in my LIFE. We are big fans of any kind of adult adventure activity (for example: we LOVE city museum) – and this seemed right up our alley. SO. We decided to make the 3.5 hours trek all the way to Branson for the weekend to see what all the excitement was about. Let’s dive into this.

Fritz's Adventure: The Ultimate Day Trip

What is Fritz’s Adventure?

Fritz’s Adventure is an awesome family attraction that beautifully melds outdoor and indoor activities. They have over 80,000 square feet of dozens of recreation. There are zip lines, rope courses,  rock walls, free falls…and their incredible Aerodium. You feel like you are taking incredible risks and leaps of faith (but don’t worry – it’s perfectly safe). All ages are invited and encouraged to participate in everything they feel comfortable doing.

When Adam and I originally agreed to come – we thought we’d maybe spend part of a day enjoying the fun and then be on our way home. BOY WERE WE WRONG. We ended up spending almost 7 hours here and never did anything twice. There is SO. MUCH. TO. DO. Honestly, the website doesn’t do the enormity of the location justice.

I have to say though – the best part for me – was seeing how uniquely and incredibly branded Fritz’s is. The attention to detail is impeccable. Everything was thought of when putting this building together – even their bathrooms are branded and decorated perfectly. Everything was made to look like an urban environment, from the shipping containers you can climb in, the old cement spinner that disguises an entrance to secret underground tunnels, branded graffiti on the walls. They just didn’t leave anything out.

What are the different activities you can participate in?

Where to even begin? They have DOZENS of activities for both children and adults alike. There are utility poles you can climb, bridges dangle above stories of space, a ropes course, slides, underground tunnels, a real life airplane to explore. In addition to that – there are rock climbing walls indoors AND outdoors.  I loved the urban indoor climbing wall but they really shine with their Via Ferrada climbing wall. Get a chance t0 scale up their building and see a GORGEOUS view of rolling Missouri trees.

Where Fritz’s really shines, though, is their Aerodium. I had to look this up because I’d never heard of it before. Let me break it down for you: An Aerodium is a vertical wind tunnel that simulates sky diving. It’s safe, easy and fun. All ages are able to participate in this activity – which makes it the perfect for the whole family to do together. It’s only the second outdoor Aerodium in the United States so it’s a unique way to spend an afternoon.

Is it more for kids than adults?

No way! Adam and I don’t have any kids and we had the BEST time. There is plenty to do as an adult and it isn’t so overrun with children that you feel out of place if you don’t have them. If you DO have kiddos, there are SO many fun things for them to do as well. If you have little kids (toddler age) that aren’t quite tall enough to do some of the bigger activities, they have lots of miniature versions for them to participate in.

I truly think this is a people of all ages kind of place.

Would you visit more than once?

ABSOLUTELY. I feel like there are so many things I’d do again and do differently if I went back! Not only can you do different things like take new paths on the rock wall, try something you ran out of time to do the last time, etc. but you can also expect the ropes course to periodically change! This was a neat thing that manger told us while we were there Saturday: every few months they switch out the different platforms on the ropes course so the next time you go – it may be a different course!

How much does it cost?

Admission goes like this:

Todders (0-3): FREE

We really loved our time at Fritz’s and are already trying to plan on when we can go back with my whole family it tow. It would be a great thing to do if you have friends or family in town – and if you are closer to St. Louis, the drive down is really easy. The staff is friendly and polite, and they are always willing to recommend different things to do and help you get the MOST out of your stay. They make it fun and safe for everyone. It seems like everyone is expertly trained and the managers on site are knowledgable and really take their jobs seriously.
