HAPPY LAST FRIDAY OF FEBRUARY! Who else is always shocked when this day comes along? I am constantly surprised when the end of the month rolls around and I am wondering where the heck the month went. February has been such a fun month from our trip to see family in Louisiana (+ our first road trip with Archer, who did absolutely SPECTACULAR), to hearing the baby’s heartbeat, to celebrating Valentine’s Day/Adam & I’s four year anniversary…PLUS I still have two more exciting things coming this month: filming a youtube collaboration with dapperlyrachel (a dear friend from high school + awesome lifestyle blogger) TOMORROW and this coming Tuesday we find out the gender of baby Mobley!! ANYWAYS: let’s dive into the monthly obsessions of this month:

Handmade heart hoop earrings by Made By Maggie Jewelry Designs

Ok I first showcased these last week in my Valentine’s Day #ootd – but for real: I am OBSESSED. They are SO dainty but make a huge statement at the same time. Maggie is so talented and I love the little cuff she sent along as well – but these take the actual cake. I have gotten SO many comments + compliments on them. All of her work is darling so you can bet I’ll be making use of her Etsy shop for birthdays/christmas presents in the future. 10/10 craftsmanship.

The Blender Girl smoothie book

THIS HAS BEEN A LIFE CHANGERRRRR. I have been really trying to get back into smoothies and juices because I really want to make sure that I am eating enough for the baby and eating the RIGHT food. I’m not great with healthy eating usually, and after my road trip earlier this month (talk about junk food central) I have been feeling SO MUCH premature mom guilt for not being healthier while pregnant. This smoothie book makes it really easy to make my smoothies in the morning (+ I get two servings out of each so one for breakfast and one for lunch). There are hundreds of recipes, all super easy to make, and helps you actually understand the art of a smoothie and how to get the most nutrients out of it.

Case Up makeup travel case

This case has been AWESOME. I got it after our road trip so I didn’t use it then but I’m so excited to bring it with me on my trips in March! I love travel cases like this because I’m learning to pack lighter when it comes to makeup (1. to minimize breakage 2. to minimize damage if things are lost or stolen and 3. it’s just easier on me in general). It makes it easy to just pack the essentials and get out the door. It’s super well made and durable, too! I’ll be doing a “pack with me” IG story before my March 8th trip with the humane society – so stay tuned for that!

Physicians Formula vitamin booster serum

My skin has been……a wreck while pregnant. I mean. Just the actual worst. I have no positives to say about my skin during pregnancy whatsoever. It’s been a solid almost 5 months of cystic breakouts, white heads, black heads, bumps. The whole nine yards. BUT the vitamin booster has helped maintain my hydration levels so that on top of everything else – my skin isn’t flaking or peeling and for that, I appreciate it.

White polka dot clutch from Target

I picked this cute little clutch up while I was at Target and they had a 20% off sale on their handbags. It’s SO CHIC and I love the metal handle. It’s the perfect size to take with you because it holds a wallet, makeup touchups, some gum or mints, my phone and keys without batting an eye. Plus the little pattern is just so cute.

Maternity denim

Guys. Maternity denim is where it is AT. I don’t know why everyone was so adamant about not buying maternity jeans before 20 weeks because if I didn’t, I would be pantsless. I caved and bought a pair from gap, a pair from Target and was sent a pair from Pink Blush. They are SO comfortable and I can actually look like I’m put together and not just wearing yoga pants all day every day. #bless Bigger PLUS? They all will be able to expand to accommodate this growing belly!

Redken hair mask cap for damaged hair

I talked about this in my hair mask blog post a few weeks ago – and I just haven’t put it down. I keep a couple on hand so I can do them every other week or so – but I just love how this mask works. It took me a while to figure out how to use the cap but it’s so great and the product inside is like liquid gold. My hair visible looks better, smells better and feels better for weeks after one use.

SOL de Janeiro Coco Cabana Cream

I got this in my BoxyCharm box this month and LOOOOOVE IT. I love the original SOL de Janeiro cream (the yellow one) so I knew I’d most likely love this too and was intrigued by the gel formula. I have been using it on my belly + will probably update my body lotion round up soon to include it because it’s THAT GOOD. Creamy without being greasy, and you can feel your skin just soaking up that hydration. It does smell just like coconut oil though – so if that isn’t your cup of tea, I’d maybe skip it.

True crime podcasts + documentaries

Oh. My. Goodness. From the Ted Bundy tapes to Abducted In Plain Sight – I haven’t been able to put down anything true crime. They blow my mind and I am so intrigued. They don’t scare me or anything (they make me a little more cautious but I’m not losing sleep over it) and they are SO my cup of tea. I love breaking down the stories, getting the facts and hearing about how these crazy people function (probably because I DON’T function that way so my brain can hardly wrap itself around it). BUT REAL TALK: if nothing else – you have to watch Abducted In Plain Sight. You will sit there and say WTF the entire time. Insane.

Rose gold sparkle slippers

Erica from Cominguprosestheblog.com got me these for my birthday and I haven’t stopped wearing them. 1) they’re comfortable. 2) they’re cute and 3) it means I don’t have to keep changing my socks when I step in water from the dog splashing outside his water dish. 10/10 would recommend sparkling slippers. *the link above goes to a similar pair. These were a gift so I don’t know exactly where they came from!!*

FEBRUARY 2019 MONTHLY OBSESSIONS

I have so enjoyed all of these things this month, and they are all things I’m truly LOVING lately. That blender girl book has been such a game changer in making sure I am getting all the nutrients I need for myself and baby, the hair mask cap is helping to restore my hair little by little and who doesn’t want to obsess over true crime, amiright?

What are the things YOU are loving this month??
