Over-The-Knee Boots

Oh, man, guys. These boots…I do not yet have a pair in my closet but boy oh boy am I obsessed. I keep looking for the perfect pair. My low-key obsession is mostly for everyone else since I don’t wear mini skirts, but I feel like they look really good over leggings and tunics, too, so I should probably just bite the bullet and get my hands on some of these.

Pointed Toe Everything

trend to try: shoe edition

If you look into my closet, you will see rows upon rows of pointed toe shoes. Pointed toe booties, pointed toe heels, pointed toe flats….etc. The list is endless. I think they are so classy. They add that little bit of something I feel like I need when I have a causal sweater and jeans on. I feel more put together, and less like I spent 4 minutes picking out my clothing this morning. These seem to come into style every so often, and I am so glad they are trendy right now (even though, tbh, I will still wear them even if they go out of style).

Lace Up Shoes

These are like, huge, this season. I love it. I keep seeing these chunky, lace up heels and I am not going to lie: they give me complete shoe envy. I love the variety of styles you can find from lace up flats (omg these white ones give me LIFE), lace up heels, lace up booties. They are the gift that keeps on giving.

Velvet Shoes

I have mixed feelings about this trend. Sometimes I like it a LOT, and sometimes I feel “eh” about it. It depends on the shoe, honestly. The other day I saw this GORGEOUS cobalt blue velvet bootie and I was like, okay, yeah. I can get on board with that. I’m totally in. I will join the ~ v e l v e t ~ party. Also, you can mix and match these trends because if you scroll up to the maroon colored lace up shoes, you’ll see those are lace up AND velvet. Two birds, one stone.

Metallic Nikes

WOwowowowo. Can we talk about this trend for like half a hot minute? I LOVE METALLIC NIKES SO MUCH. I NEED THEM FIVE MINUTES AGO. I think they are so chic, they are so comfortable, people think you have your ish together and life is grand. I don’t think I need to say anything else on this. Get a pair? I am.

Block Heels

trend to try: shoe edition

I love this trend because I think block heels look incredibly stylish (also notice these are also lace up). I have a pair of block heel booties and a pair of block heel pumps. For some reason, they dress down your look just enough to make it seem like you totally woke up like this and live this fantasy dream life on the daily. Get yo self a pair of these heels and I will be so happy to join you and get more (A — if you are reading this…I promise that I need another pair of shoes. Don’t hate me. We didn’t need to buy groceries this week anyways).

If you want to buy these shoes: I 100% support this decision. If you want to buy these shoes for CHEEEEEAAAPPPPP, I support that even more. By using these groupon coupons for Steve Madden & Charlotte Russe, you make sure you stay on top of all of the trends and don’t break the bank doing it.

I know that makes me happier, my husband happier, and my bank account several hundred dollars happier. I could buy shoes all day long, but it is way better when you can get them on sale!

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you learn something new today (and walked away from it with your online shopping cart full of shoes).

  10. The gold Nike’s are hot! I love them! I’d even wear them with a cute skirt or leggings. I’ve noticed chunky heel shoes are back in style, like the maroon lace-up heels you have featured. It reminds me of the 90s. I love the 90s fashion style! Great picks!

  11. Those are all so cute! I am loving the idea of over the knee boots this year!
