Happy #beautymonday and LABOR DAY. Amanda from Blissfulgal.com has been hanging out at my house ALL weekend long and we’ve spent all the $$$ on labor day sales, zip lined, made custom candles….and so much more. A whole dedicated blog post about THAT coming soon!! Anyways – last week I got my Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette in the mail, so I’ve been having a BALL creating looks with these pigmented shadows. I’m including my first impressions, swatches, and the video tutorial. Let’s do this:
Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette Review + Tutorial
This orange and purple look was so fun. I love love love how bright the shades are and how pigmented and easily they blend out. Based on other reviews on morphe shadows, I expected the mattes to come out a little patchier but most of them were fabulous.
As you can see — these colors are CRAZY pigmented, especially the purple / cobalt / teal shades. The metallic shades are completely stunning. I only dipped my finger in once to swatch, did not edit colors at all, used natural lighting and no eyeshadow primer. What you see is what you get!
ALSO. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Here are last weeks #100daysofmakeup looks. I am currently on Day 42 and going strong! If you want to see all my past looks CLICK HERE.
Did this convince you to sign up for the next launch of the palette? It’s out of stock right now but coming back soon. The website doesn’t have an exact date yet but you can put your email in HERE to be notified when it’s back in stock!
I have loved playing along with this palette — and hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you are interested in seeing more tutorials using this palette (and if you have specific shadows you’d like to see used), please let me know in the comments below!!
