Happy #fashionwednesday! I hope you are having an absolutely EXCELLENT week. For some reason I feel like the last month I’ve been running and running and running with no end in sight. But I do love being busy, so I’m not complaining. 🙂 Today’s fashion post is showcasing one of my very favorite trends in the fashion world right now: PEG PANTS. These are fabulous because they mix patterns (check out my guide to pattern mixing here), hug all the right places, and is super stretchy so they are BEYOND comfortable.
SHOP THIS LOOK:
I chose coral (obviously – if you saw my post yesterday you’ll know it’s my favorite color right now). This color is SO bright and beautiful and truth be told: it definitely makes you look more tan than you really are, so that’s a big plus for my paleness. I love this top particularly because it’s so flow. It looks amazing with the tight fit of the pants – it’s also so comfortable.
These are SO MUCH FUN. I am definitely partial to peg pants with fun patterns because they accessories an outfit without you needing to do too much in the jewelry or handbag department. These are stripes with flowers and the color of the flowers PERFECTLY matches the coral in the top so it really ties everything all together.
The flowers are outlined with black, so I paired this look with black shoes and a black handbag. It really ties the entire look together. Another option would be to pair with white because of the white pinstripes in the pants. I would also pair these with white tennis shoes or cute little white heels.

I hope you enjoyed this style post today – and learned something new and cool while you were at it. 😉 This outfit is one of my go-to’s for summer and the best part is these ADORABLE peg pants were on sale for only $15.98 at Old Navy! I honestly haven’t shopped at Old Navy in years because I always felt like they were a little bit out of style. I went in a few weeks ago when I was in Utah and was SO PLEASANTLY surprised! They have seriously stepped up their game and I will definitely be going back in this summer.
Let me know what you think of this outfit in the comments below and if you have peg pants of your own you like to style!
